As an Automotive Call Center Agent, you’ll be the first point of contact for customers eager to explore our incredible vehicle offerings. Your role is key in communicating with potential customers, setting appointments for our skilled Sales Team, and providing top-tier support on inbound calls. You’ll be instrumental in ensuring smooth transitions by setting appointments and transferring calls with professionalism and ease.

This job requires exceptional “people” skills, a passion for helping customers, and a positive attitude. Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Dedication to Customer Satisfaction in all actions and interactions with customers.
  • Responsible for making sure that all phone leads are contacted and followed up in proper manner.
  • Responsible for following sales team process when contacting customers.
  • Schedule sales appointments with sales consultants by assigning contacts to any individual who is specifically requested or by ensuring that all consultants are given equal opportunity to appointments set.
  • Make phone calls and handle incoming calls in a professional and enthusiastic manner.
  • Help maintain records going into the dealership management system and scheduler.
  • Keep abreast of sales specials and how they benefit customers.
  • Attend sales meetings.
  • Understand the manufacturer warranty and special programs offered by the manufacturer. 
  • Act as a spokesperson for the company while on the phone with prospective customers.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalency.
  • Customer relations experience preferred.
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in PC software programs and computer use.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with customers.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends, as required.

  • Previous experience in a call center or automotive sales environment a plus.
