Job description

Job Title: Bilingual Call Center Representative
Location: Lombard, Illinois / Work from Home after fully trained
Job Status: Full-time
Pay Rate: $19.00
POSITION PURPOSE:
Provides telephone support for motorists seeking information about the Illinois Vehicle Emissions Testing Program and provides troubleshooting and administrative support for inspection station and repair industry personnel.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Respond in a professional, courteous, supportive, and informative manner to all inquiries from motorists relating to program rules and requirements, procedures, test results, and station locations.
  • Professionally interact with inspection station personnel assisting with technical and procedural questions and concerns pertaining to the emissions testing process as well as administrative support (providing forms, training information, etc.)
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • One-year experience in a Customer Service or Call Center environment
  • Experience in successful conflict resolution preferred
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
  • Competency using Microsoft Suite (MS Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point)
  • Bilingual/Spanish speaking skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to interface effectively with motorists
  • Dependable, reliable, punctual and self-motivated
  • Able to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to display a positive disposition at all times in a variety of customer situations
  • Able to develop a thorough and comprehensive understanding of the Illinois Program and effectively communicate rules and regulations to callers.
