What does a caliper do?

A typical day for a Caliper involves conducting precise measurements on machined or fabricated parts to ensure they meet specified tolerances and quality standards. You may spend much of your time inspecting parts using calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools, recording your findings, and flagging any deviations from specifications.
