What You Will Do:

As a Metrology Engineer II, you'll work with minimal direct mentoring and management oversight and will bring your solid technical skills to the table in support of the calibration and maintenance of test equipment and test systems.
Responsibilities will include:

• Calibrate and maintain measuring and test equipment and test systems
• Troubleshoot and repair measuring and test equipment and test systems
• Prove in calibration and maintenance procedures
• Implement test system modifications per released engineering drawings
• Handling of gases, electromechanical equipment

This job is posted as ONSITE, and is based at Raytheon's Huntsville, AL facility.
Qualifications You Must Have:

• Bachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience
• Experience with calibration and maintenance of measuring or test equipment and/or test systems
• Physical, Dimensional and/or Electronic calibration experience
• Ability to obtain interim Secret U.S Government issued security clearance is required prior to start date

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Knowledge of calibration quality standards
• Cable repair experience
• Knowledge of calibration quality standards
• Experience working with electronic, electromechanical and torque equipment
• Experience with desktop computer and Microsoft Office applications
• Current DOD Clearance

The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
