At ARISE Veterinary Center, you'll do more than practice. You'll collaborate with a dedicated team, manage complex cases, and help shape the future of veterinary medicine through teaching and advanced patient care.
Located in Queen Creek, ARISE is a 32,000-square-foot specialty and emergency hospital with a multidisciplinary team that includes internal medicine, cardiology, critical care, surgery, radiology, medical oncology, neurology (coming soon!), and a 24/7 emergency service. The hospital also hosts residents, rotating interns, and veterinary student externs, creating a strong environment for collaboration, mentorship, and clinical learning.
ARISE is equipped with advanced diagnostic and interventional technology, including a GE Mobile 1.5T MRI, 128-slice CT with cardiac gating capabilities, flexible and rigid video endoscopy, multiple advanced ultrasound systems, digital radiography, and an OEC Elite Vascular mobile C-arm for interventional radiology and surgical procedures. The facility also includes dedicated suites for mechanical ventilation and extracorporeal therapies.

In your day-to-day, you will:
  • Provide advanced anesthesia care for complex specialty, emergency, surgical, and interventional cases.
  • Collaborate closely with specialists in surgery, internal medicine, cardiology, critical care, radiology, medical oncology, neurology, and emergency medicine.
  • Support complex procedures utilizing ARISE's advanced diagnostic and interventional capabilities, including CT, MRI, endoscopy, ultrasound, and C-arm fluoroscopy.
  • Contribute to the hospital's teaching environment by working alongside residents, interns, and veterinary student externs.
  • Partner closely with veterinarians, technicians, and support teams to provide seamless, compassionate patient care.
  • Help foster a culture of mentorship, knowledge-sharing, and continuous learning.
  • Communicate clearly and empathetically with pet owners during stressful and emotional situations.

What You Bring
  • DVM or equivalent veterinary degree with eligibility for state veterinary licensure.
  • Board Certification in Anesthesiology or residency training in Veterinary Anesthesiology.
  • Strong clinical skills and an interest in complex anesthesia and perioperative case management.
