What is a Calendar Girl?

Calendar Girls are typically women who participate in creating themed calendars, often featuring posed photographs for fundraising, promotional, or artistic purposes. The term became popular after the release of the 2003 British film 'Calendar Girls,' based on a true story of women who created a nude calendar to raise money for charity. Calendar Girls can refer to models, volunteers, or members of a group who are featured in such calendars. The aim is usually to support a charitable cause, promote an organization, or celebrate empowerment and body positivity.
