Position Summary:
Baker Description:
The Baker bakes all sizes and flavors of cakes according to set standards and time guidelines. The Baker is responsible for maintaining required par levels and bakes accordingly. He or she is responsible for keeping the baking station clean, sanitized, and running efficiently. The baker tracks inventory and communicates grocery and baking material needs to management.
Compensation:
The Baker will earn a minimum of $14.00 per hour to start.Candidatesmay be further compensated based on their drive, ability to learn quickly, and desire to improve. Additional compensation is available, including performance bonuses and other perks.
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
  • Bakes cakes in all sizes and flavors by diligently following established recipes
  • Removes cakes from pans and packages properly
  • Puts baked cakes away and rotates cakes according to established brand standards
  • Communicates with management about equipment including problems and maintenance
  • Folds boxes and labels containers
  • Tracks inventory of baked goods
  • Keeps baking area clean and sanitized, including tables, equipment, and tools
  • Assists other departments as necessary
