Job description

This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate! Cairn Communities is the largest mobile home community operator in Houston and we are still growing! The mobile home industry is practically recession proof in a city like Houston. There is a large customer base always looking for affordable housing that no longer want to rent or cannot afford a single family home.

A manufactured home sales consultant guides buyers through the housing selection, financing, and purchasing process. Key duties include client consultation, lead follow-up, and contract closing.

Role Overview & Responsibilities

  • Customer Engagement: Assess buyer needs, show model homes, and explain features, floor plans, and customization options.
  • Sales & Follow-Up: Respond to phone, digital, and walk-in leads using CRM systems, proactively tracking prospective buyer activity.
  • Financing & Paperwork: Collect credit information, assist with mortgage or loan applications, secure down payments, and finalize purchase contracts.
  • Target Achievement: Meet monthly sales quotas, maintain customer satisfaction, and represent dealership inventory professionally.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Experience: 1 to 2+ years in retail, direct sales, or customer service; previous housing or real estate sales is a strong advantage.
