ABOUT ONSITE WELLNESS GROUP

Onsite is a therapeutic retreat center with a 40-year history of healing and is nestled on a beautiful 250-acre campus in the rolling hills just outside of Nashville. Our vision is “An emotionally well world… Humanity reconnected” and one element of that is providing healing hospitality that accompanies the life transformation of our programs. We are currently looking for a Café Barista for our bespoke Green House Café, a place of solace, peace and delicious coffee and pastry creations. ABOUT THE DAY-TO-DAY IN THIS ROLE:

Shift: 6am-2:30pm Friday - Tuesday

· This role is client-facing and you’ll be responsible for delivering exemplary customer service daily in our café.

· You’ll be responsible for creating coffee, espresso, tea and handmade mochas, lattes, iced beverages and more.

· You’ll be responsible for inventory, cleaning and maintaining the café, running the café register, and must be able to maintain cash handling protocols.

· We are looking for an optimistic, eager, independent, and creative barista who is familiar with the various equipment (including high-end espresso machines) and is a great communicator

· Must be familiar with safety, health and sanitation requirements

IDEAL EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE FOR THE ROLE:

We are open to candidates of all backgrounds, experience and education levels. After all, years of experience is just a number. That said, we believe that candidates with the following backgrounds will be well-suited to succeed in this role:

· High school graduate or equivalent preferred, ideally 1-2 years of experience in a similar role is preferred

· Experience in a coffeehouse, café, and high-end foodservice organization necessary

· Highly collaborative food service professional
