At Cadence, we hire and develop leaders and innovators who want to make an impact on the world of technology.

We are looking for a talented engineer for our mixed signal circuit simulation platform ( Spectre AMS Designer). You will work on several possible R&D projects including development of event-driven algorithms, analog circuit simulation algorithms, mixed signal circuit configuration, elaboration, simulation or debug. You will be responsible for advancing and creating state-of-the-art mixed signal circuit simulation technologies and solutions.

Job Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Minimum BS in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
  • C/C++ software development experience in Linux environment.
  • Strong understanding and extensive usage of data structures and algorithms.
  • Highly technical engineer with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work in a distributed software engineering team.

Preferred:

  • MS or PhD in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
  • Experience in the use of AI/ML for EDA is a strong plus.
  • Experience with using Cadence Spectre, Xcelium, Virtuoso, Verisium or other EDA tools
  • Knowledge of EDA physical design algorithms, timing analysis, and multi-threading.

The annual salary range for California is $101,500 to $188,500. You may also be eligible to receive incentive compensation: bonus, equity, and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the salary range is a guideline and compensation may vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
