Substance Abuse Counselor (CADC or LCAS-A) – Outpatient Addiction Treatment | Raleigh, NC

For more than 30 years, New Season has been a national leader in Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT), providing evidence-based care for individuals living with Opioid Use Disorder (OUD). We're looking for a dedicated Substance Abuse Counselor to support our patients on their recovery journey in our Raleigh outpatient clinic.

What You'll Do:
• Conduct patient intakes, admissions, transfers, and discharges
• Complete psychosocial assessments and individualized treatment plans
• Provide individual, group, and family counseling
• Maintain a minimum of 20 hours of direct patient counseling each week
• Educate patients on addiction, recovery, relapse prevention, and healthy living
• Identify case management and behavioral health needs while coordinating patient care
• Collect urine drug screens and patient identification documentation
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, counselors, and clinic leadership to deliver exceptional patient care

Qualifications:
• Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, Human Services, or a related behavioral health field
• Active North Carolina CADC or LCAS-A credential required
• Experience in substance use disorder treatment, behavioral health, mental health, or counseling preferred
• Strong communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills
• Passion for helping individuals achieve long-term recovery
