Role Description The Computer Aided Design (CAD) Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in Orlando, FL. This role involves creating, modifying, and updating construction documents and specifications. The CAD Technician collaborates with engineers, architects, designers, contractors, and owners to review design requirements, changes and revisions, and ensure drawings meet industry standards and building code requirements. Daily tasks include computer-aided drafting, organizing drawing files, maintaining project documentation, and providing technical support for design-related issues. Also includes some site visits to job sites, both before and during construction. The role requires careful attention to detail, accurate revision tracking, and timely completion of drawing requests to keep projects on schedule.


Qualifications

  • Proficiency with AutoCAD software and the ability to produce clear, accurate technical drawings.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical plans, specifications, and construction documents.
