Job description

WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION
  • Prepare clear, complete, and accurate working plans and detailed drawings from project specifications, sketches, or notes.
  • Build final drawing packets based on Trachte job specifications, ensuring consistency in design standards, dimensions, scaling, and CAD operations.
  • Make adjustments or changes as requested by the customer or Project Manager.
  • Use CAD software (SolidWorks) and equipment to build technical drawings. Maintain job logs and historical references to support project tracking and documentation.
  • Support a collaborative work environment that encourages pride in the product and values individual contributions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

YOU HAVE:
  • Associate or bachelor's degree in Drafting Technology, Industrial Technology, Engineering, or a related field; or a minimum of 5 years of proven experience in lieu of a degree, preferred.
  • 3 years of experience working in a CAD department is strongly preferred.
  • Proven understanding of SolidWorks is strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office products and demonstrates knowledge of an ERP system.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence and speak with groups of customers or employees of organization.
