Position Overview
The purpose of the CAD Specialist's role is to provide basic graphical support for the Roofing Marketing team associated with Johns Manville flashing details. The individual holding this position will be responsible for translating copy and generating new versions of existing CAD files.
The hourly rate for this role will be: $29.53 - This is a temporary role (6 months commitment).
Your Day-to-Day:
  • Provides graphical CAD support to roofing marketing team
  • Replicate current English CAD flashing details and fastening patterns, translating to Spanish using Copilot or Google Translate.
  • Route Spanish CAD files (exported as PDFs) to internal Spanish QC team (Technical Services and Sales team members).
  • Turning final, approved files over to Marketing.
  • May be required to perform other related duties as assigned

What You Bring to the Team:
  • High school diploma GED with a minimum of 3 years of related work experience
  • Requires Spanish bilingualism
  • Associates degree preferred
  • Proficient in Computer Aided Design CAD related software
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Ability to read, scale and understand architectural plans
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Fundamental knowledge of common construction materials and building design methods, preferred
  • Work environment is typical of an office setting.
