Job description

This is a Cactus Wellhead position and is located in Hobbs, NM
Day Shift
Job Summary: Responsible for the maintenance functions and repairs associated with equipment/machines located in the Calibrated Tool and Equipment Tool Crib.
Essential Functions, Roles and Responsibilities: Essential duties and responsibilities include the following.
  • Practices safe work habits and comply with all quality, safety, health and environmental policies, procedures, programs and regulations
  • Performs a wide variety of highly skilled maintenance, as well as preventative and predictive maintenance work on shop machines and equipment
  • Interprets complex maintenance manuals, sketches, drawings, and specifications to determine repair and troubleshooting procedures
  • Disassembles, adjusts, repairs, replaces, and proves out maintenance operations on a diversified line of work, including hydraulics, electronics, pneumatics, mechanical systems and other machine repair
  • Performs wide range of electrical repairs on equipment
  • Assists with the moving, relocation, and installation of equipment
  • Moves and stores hazardous materials in accordance with environmental and safety procedures
  • Follows lockout tag out procedures
  • Proceeds with minimal supervision
  • Maintains and monitors Calibrated Tool and Equipment Tool Crib

Education, Training, Experience: High School diploma or general education degree (GED): or minimum 2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Certifications, Licenses, Registrations: None Required
Job Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
  • Working knowledge of Cactus Wellhead Products; Customer Property, Repair and Remanufacture; Customer Relationships and Networking; Equipment Troubleshooting of Cactus Wellhead and Other EOM Equipment; Infrastructure and Asset Management; Preparing and Evaluating Budgets
  • Advanced computer skills
  • Advanced Language skills, Mathematical skills and time management ability
