Competitive compensation package including hourly rate + mileage + bonuses ($20-$22/hr base range).

Schedule & Travel Details:

This is a full-time, Tuesday-Friday position (8AM-5PM) with a 1-hour lunch.

About the Role:

Platinum Dental is seeking an experienced Traveling Periodontal Dental Assistant to serve as a specialty assistant within our periodontal program. This role is essential to supporting high-quality periodontal care across multiple offices.

You will play a key part in maintaining consistency, training other dental assistants, and ensuring each location is fully prepared for periodontal procedures.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Welcome and prepare patients for periodontal treatments
  • Assist the periodontist with 4-handed dentistry, surgical setups, and perio procedures
  • Select, set up, and sterilize instruments and equipment
  • Manage and order supplies for the traveling perio kit
  • Communicate supply needs to each office
  • Complete lab tasks as instructed
  • Provide post-operative instructions
  • Maintain clean, organized, and well-stocked operatories
  • Schedule appointments and maintain accurate patient records

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Experience Required: Proven experience as a periodontal or specialty dental assistant-this role requires a confident, lead-level assistant
  • Leadership Skills: Ability to train other DAs and oversee perio setup consistency
