Job description

Join Cache County Corp as an Office Specialist with the Sheriff’s Department. This position offers you the opportunity to engage directly with law enforcement professionals and contribute to essential administrative functions. You will gain valuable experience in a high-performance environment, enhancing your organizational and communication skills.

The role is not only pivotal for the smooth operation of the department but also provides a chance to make a tangible difference in the community. This is a full-time, benefited position that offers competitive pay of $20.32 per hour. All benefits start on the first day! Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, 401k, Utah Retirement System, 14 paid holidays, and 18 days of Personal Leave in the first year.

Your role as AN Office Specialist 

As an Office Specialist for the Sheriff’s Department at Cache County Corp, your daily responsibilities will encompass a variety of essential clerical duties. A typical day in this role may involve filing important documents, assisting the public with inquiries, sorting and distributing mail, and efficiently answering phone calls. You will operate a computer to complete tasks, fill out necessary forms, and compose and type correspondence.

A key responsibility will be managing GRAMA requests, ensuring transparency and compliance in public records management. This position offers a chance to actively contribute to the department while honing your administrative skills in a professional and energetic environment.
