SUMMARY

Covetrus is looking for aSenior Director of Ecommercetoown the performance, growth, and day-to-day execution of Covetrus'online pharmacy business. This role is accountable for revenue, conversion, customer experience, and operational efficiency across the ecommerce platform. You willwork withcross-functional teams spanning marketing, merchandising, product, technology, and operations tofurtherscale a high-growth digital business serving veterinary practices and pet owners.

This is a senior leadership role with real P&L responsibility and broad influence across the organization.

Key responsibilities

Ecommerce strategy and growth

  • Own the ecommerce and revenue plan for the online pharmacy business

  • Drive growth across acquisition, conversion, retention, and average order value

  • Translate company goals into clear ecommerce priorities and execution plans

  • Identify new growth opportunities across channels, partnerships, and product mix

Customer experience and conversion

  • Own the end-to-end customer journey, from first visit through reorder and subscription

  • Partner with Product and UX teams to improve site experience, checkout, and mobile performance

  • Use data and testing to continuously improve conversion rates and engagement

Marketing and merchandising leadership

  • Lead ecommerce merchandising strategy including pricing, promotions, subscriptions, and assortments

  • Partner closely with Marketing on paid media, lifecycle, and on-site campaigns

  • Ensure strong alignment between traffic strategy and on-site experience

Analytics and performance management

  • Define and track core ecommerce KPIs including revenue, margin, CAC, LTV, conversion, and retention

  • Use insights to guide prioritization, investment decisions, and forecasts

  • Clearly communicate performance and tradeoffs to executive leadership

Cross-functional leadership

  • Work closely with Technology, Operations, Compliance, and Customer Care to ensure scalable, reliable execution

  • Balance growth initiatives with operational realities unique to pharmacy and regulated products

  • Act as the connective tissue across teams to keep priorities aligned and moving

  • Partner with product on developing a multi-year roadmap and prioritization

Team leadership

  • Build, lead, and develop a high-performing ecommerce team

  • Set clear goals, expectations, and accountability

  • Create a culture focused on results, learning, and continuous improvement

REQUIREDQUALIFICATIONS

Education:

  • Undergraduate degree with amaster's incomputer scienceor businessdesired

Experience:

  • 10+ years of ecommerce or digital business experience, including senior leadership roles

  • Proven ownership of a high-volume ecommerce P&L

  • Strong strategic and operational balanceto craft high-leveldigitalstrategies and execute hands-ondigital performanceplans acrossa variety of audience/entrychannels

  • Strong background in conversion optimization, digital merchandising, andcustomer LTV

  • Experience working in regulated, complex, or fulfillment-heavy environments strongly preferred

  • Data-driven decision maker who is comfortable with ambiguity and tradeoffs

  • Comfort with using data and analytics to guide strategy and measure performance

  • Strong communicator with excellent planning and execution skills

  • Track recordof leading cross-functional teams and influencing without direct authority
