Job description

Skills/Qualifications
Demonstrated ability to safely perform cable pulling operations
Progressive knowledge of electrical systems based on classification level
Ability to read and interpret drawings
Experience with terminations
Medium voltage certification or demonstrated competence
Examples of key duties are descriptive and not restrictive. Responsibilities vary by level.
Core Duties
1. Communicate with Electricians and others to perform job tasks
2

Works around energized and hazardous electrical systems
3. Unwinds, routes, and pulls cable in tray, conduit, and duct banks
4. Assists in cable identification, tagging, and routing verification
5.

Assists with installation of cable tray, supports, and related infrastructure
6. Uses hand and power tools safely to support installation activities
7. Assists with connecting power cable to equipment under supervision
8.

Performs basic testing and continuity checks under supervision
9. Maintains a clean and safe work environment
10. Assists in lifting, positioning, and securing materials during installation
11.

Cleans and performs minor maintenance on tools and equipment
12. Safely traverses uneven terrain with tools and materials
13. Climbs ladders and works at heights as required
14.

Maintains dependable attendance in accordance with Project Work Rules
15. Must adhere to all safety procedures
16. Typically requires a minimum of 48 months of industrial construction experience.
