Cable tray fitters are skilled tradespeople responsible for installing, assembling, and maintaining cable tray systems that support and route electrical cables in buildings and industrial settings. Their work ensures that cables are organized, safely secured, and accessible for maintenance, helping prevent electrical hazards. Cable tray fitters read technical drawings, measure and cut materials, and use tools to fix trays in place, often working on construction sites or in factories. Their role is crucial in both new installations and upgrades of electrical infrastructure.
