Job Title: Cable Technician
Job Description

We are seeking a motivated, entry-level Fiber Optic Technician to join our team in the Apex, NC area. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start a long-term career in the telecommunications field. As an apprentice, you will work alongside an experienced technician, gaining hands-on training and real-world experience in fiber optic installation and maintenance.

Responsibilities

  • Shadow and assist experienced fiber technicians in daily tasks.
  • Learn how to install, splice, and terminate fiber optic cables.
  • Assist with running fiber lines, performing hookups, and completing offsets.
  • Support troubleshooting and maintenance of fiber optic systems.
  • Help prepare job sites, organize materials, and maintain equipment.
  • Follow all safety guidelines and company procedures.
  • Maintain a strong work ethic and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
