At Kanaan Communications, LLC, as a Cable Installation Technician, you'll safely install and troubleshoot video services, internet, telephone, and alarm equipment in customer homes and businesses.
Earning potential can be up to $1,500 per week based on your skill set and workload. All work completed is paid by piece work, which depends on what is being installed.

What you'll do
  • Install, disconnect, and troubleshoot video service, internet, telephone, and/or alarm equipment in customer homes and businesses
  • Identify and try to remedy sources of customer-perceived issues
  • Review all requested services with the customer in order to ensure understanding and agreement
  • Educate the customer regarding product and service usage
  • Clean, maintain, and stock vehicle and equipment
  • Work overtime, travel, and perform on-call/afterhours responsibilities as needed
  • Perform work in all weather conditions
  • Other duties as assigned

What you'll need
  • To be 18 years of age or older
  • Authorization to work in the United States for this company
  • High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience
  • Valid state driver's license (cannot be Provisional), including an acceptable driving record
  • Previous experience in cable installation or a related field preferred

Physical abilities & exposures
  • Routinely: work at heights, occasional entry into attics and crawl spaces and alone in remote locations, operate vehicle and heavy machinery; squeeze, fine hand motion, bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs, and lift up to 55 pounds without assistance.
