Job description

EMS by Design has been in business since 2009. We provide installations and service for multiple large companies and specialize in low voltage control systems, e.g., total building management systems, parking garage exhaust control systems, stairwell and elevator pressurizations systems, and refrigeration control systems. We specialize in design-build systems that are tailored to the customers specific needs. 

The control technician role will require 95% travel, typical travel is Monday-Friday or 10-4 (ten days ON, four days OFF); all travel time and travel expenses are paid by EMSBD. EMS by Design provides installation of building control systems on various projects throughout the southeast. 

In order to qualify for this position, an individual must be able to: competently measure, bend, and install conduit, be able to efficiently use electrical trade tools (to include a multi-meter), be able to work without direct supervision and be willing/able to follow site safety rules. Typical installations include, but are not limited to; conduit installation, pulling low-voltage cable, installation of electronics, etc. 

We are looking for individuals that are 'self-driven', willing to learn, and able to follow company/jobsite rules.
