We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cable & Harness Inspector to support our team in San Antonio, TX. This is a full-time, position with 2 different shift schedules both being 4 - 10 hour shifts starting at 5:00am for 1st shift or 2:30pm for 2nd shift (Sun-Wed (OT Thurs) or Wed - Sat (OT Tues)). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cable and harness inspection, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work. Key Responsibilities 
  • Performs inspections of electrical systems, electrical components, wiring, and related aircraft electrical installations to ensure compliance with applicable standards and specifications
  • This inspector will implement quality assurance and safety plans to ensure compliance with contract specifications and applicable regulations
  • Inspects all phases of a variety of goods, services, or operations for conformity to established quality, health and safety, and other operational standards by performing ongoing reviews of work for compliance with requirements
  • Ensures all services listed on the performance requirement summary are performed in a satisfactory manner
  • Specifies areas to be inspected (scheduled and unscheduled) and how often inspections will be accomplished
  • Communicates deficiencies to proper personnel
  • Maintains Quality Assurance files and documents results of all inspections
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience inspecting or working with aircraft electrical systems, electrical components, wiring, or related electrical installations
  • Minimum of 5 years of Aerospace Quality Inspection experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience performing product or process inspections
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience reading and interpreting aerospace engineering drawings and blueprints
  • Must be willing to work variable shifts, including weekends and overtime. Some positions may also be rotating shifts
  • Strong organizational, communication, and software adaptation skills
  • This position requires performing inspections in manufacturing environments where access to components may require kneeling, crawling, crouching, or working in confined spaces. Inspectors may need to remain in these positions for several minutes while completing detailed quality inspections.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Electrical inspection experience on aircraft systems, avionics, wiring, or integrated electrical components
  • Experience working with large aircraft Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) inspections
  • Experience in Aerospace, Manufacturing, Quality, or experience in a regulated industry
  • FAA Airframe and Powerplant Certificate or sufficient experience to obtain an FAA Repairman Certificate
  • Experience with Executive Fleet aircraft
$35 - $40 an hour

$29-$34 per hour. Actual compensation will be based on a variety of factors, including experience, skills, qualifications, and location.

Mileage reimbursement at the US government rate ($0.70 per mile driven). Untaxed.
