KBR is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to support the design, development, integration, and validation of electrical systems across commercial and industrial programs. This role focuses on delivering robust, scalable, and cost-effective electrical solutions for product development, manufacturing, and operational environments. The role includes responsibility for cable and wiring harness design, development, and integration. * Working Hours: Standard Basic Compensation: $150,00 - $190,000 USD annually The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity. Key Responsibilities: * Lead electrical design efforts from concept through final production.
* Proficiency with electrical design tools. (KiCAD, OrCAD)
* Develop schematics, wiring diagrams, and architecture documentation
* Research, design, and evaluate electrical systems to meet operational and performance requirements.
* Develop and execute test plans and procedures
* Design and develop cable assemblies and wiring harnesses, including routing, shielding, and connector selection
* Define harness requirements including signal integrity, EMI/EMC considerations, and environmental constraints
* Support program schedules, budgets, and risk mitigation
* Participate in design reviews and support production and integration activities.
* Work closely with a small team to execute fast paced, short timeline projects, both individually and as a team. Required Qualifications: * Active/Current DoD Secret clearance required
* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical field
* A minimum of 8 years of experience performing electrical design on complex systems.
* Proficiency with electrical design tools. (OrCAD)
* Experience with test equipment and troubleshooting Preferred Qualifications * Familiarity with Space Flight hardware.
* Strong understanding of the full engineering lifecycle from concept to production.
* Demonstrated ability to collaborate in multi-disciplinary teams.
* Experience with Solidworks 3D CAD and CAM tools.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
