Cable TechnicianPosition Overview

We are seeking motivated Cable Technicians to join our team supporting structured cabling and low-voltage installations in commercial construction environments. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to build a career in telecommunications, structured cabling, and network infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will assist with cable installation, device terminations, telecommunications closet buildouts, and low-voltage infrastructure projects while working alongside experienced technicians.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install work area outlets, including floor monuments, surface mount boxes, and wall outlets.
  • Pull and route low-voltage cabling through walls, ceilings, and modular furniture systems.
  • Use fish tape and other installation methods to route cable efficiently and safely.
  • Organize, dress, label, and prepare cables prior to termination.
  • Install and support cable pathways, including:
    • Cable Tray
    • J-Hooks
    • D-Rings
    • Bridal Rings
    • Trapeze Supports
  • Build and organize telecommunications closets.
  • Mount and install:
    • Backboards
    • Equipment Racks
    • Patch Panels
    • Cross Connects
    • Fiber Hardware
  • Install grounding for racks, equipment, and cabling as required.
  • Perform fire-stopping procedures on fire-rated walls and penetrations.
  • Install sleeves and route cable through wall penetrations.
  • Terminate low-voltage devices and telecommunications equipment.
  • Maintain quality standards and ensure all installations meet project specifications.

Pay and Benefits
