Zayo's communications infrastructure solutions include dark fiber, private data networks, wavelengths, Ethernet, and dedicated Internet access. Zayo serves wireless and wireline carriers, media, tech, content, finance, healthcare and other large enterprises.
Zayo is seeking an Operations Coordinator to perform the day-to-day functions associated with project implementation in both the pre-construction and post-construction environments. Our Operations Coordinator is responsible for maintaining status reports documenting project schedules and project costs.
Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for local contract administration and compliance with bonding, insurance, and generalized procedures
  • Project coordination with all levels of management
  • Track, report, and communicate on all Outside Plant (OSP) project progress
  • Assist with cost actuals versus budget. Build quality, reporting accuracy, and project tracker accuracy
  • Assist and coordinate cable locate service contractors
  • Maintain a tracking log for all capital, expense, and emergency restoration purchase requisitions
  • Manage incoming and outgoing materials inventory
  • Assist in general contractor coordination
  • Develop and maintain contact list for Zayo business contracts, including permit agencies and ILEC
  • Coordinate all conduit leases and paperwork associated with existing and future leases
  • Coordinate all permits associated with city, state, and county agencies

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) or 1-2 years' related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Telecom experience, preferred
  • Extreme attention to detail with a keen eye on accuracy
  • Excellent communicator; willing to write to, speak to, and communicate with all levels of the organization
  • Ability to take data and turn it into reports
  • Previous experience working with Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Ability to write reports and correspondence

Estimated Base Pay Range: $16.39 - $25.19 USD/hour
The base pay range shown is a guideline and reasonable estimate for this role. It takes into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions. Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted range based upon geographic location, work experience, skill level, certifications, and other business and organizational needs. Non- sales roles may be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive plan. Sales roles may be eligible to participate in a sales incentive plan.
Additionally, this position may be eligible for certain benefits, such as health insurance, life insurance, disability retirement plans, paid time off.
The posting will be active for a minimum of 3 days. The active posting will continue to extend by 3 days until the position is filled.
