The LaSalle Street Cable Car Powerhouse is a beautiful,designated landmark, initially opened in 1887, in the heyday of Chicago's cablecar system. We intend to do it justice by restoring the original features totheir former glory and, at the same time, breathe new life into the space.

Reporting to the Chef de Cuisine, we'relooking for a brand-new Prep Cook to join our team and open our second internationalrestaurant in Chicago.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

  • All Hawksmoor kitchen food preparation;
    oButchery and fish preparation
    oBatches and recipes
  • Food quality and consistency
  • Goods receiving
  • Health & Safety
  • Maintenance of kitchenequipment
  • A good understanding of:
    oProduct
    oCompany recipes (which must befollowed exactly)
  • Liaising with Senior Chefs

To be considered for the role you will have:

  • Experience working in some ofthe best kitchens in Chicago.
  • Comfortable and experiencedwith high volume businesses in terms of both covers and revenue.
  • Professionalism and good communication skills.
