Reporting to the Executive Chef, we'relooking for a Sous Chef to join our team.

Key responsibilities of the role include:
- To support the Executive Chefin;
- Food quality and consistency
- Taking part in menu developmentand tastings
- Efficiency of services/kitchen
- Product and service standards
- Health & Safety
- Maintenance of kitchenequipment
- Set an example to staff whenrunning the pass or working on a section.
- Giving support to senior staffwithin the team FOH/BOH
- To support the Executive Chefand manage the kitchen's financial performance, including:
- Being aware of GP targets
- Ensure stock levels areappropriate and ordering is optimized
- A good understanding of:
- Product
- Company recipes (which must befollowed exactly)
- Systems, including QSR, Stockmanagement and inventory control
To be considered for the role you will have:
- Extensive experience runningsome of the best kitchens in Chicago.
- Experience launching andopening restaurants in Chicago and the US.
- Comfortable and experiencedwith high volume businesses in terms of both covers and revenue.
- Top management andinterpersonal skills.
- Excellent leadership skillswith ability to teach, coach and train all FOH and BOH employees.
