Job Description:

Position Summary:

The Production Supervisor is responsible for leading a team of production associates to meet daily operational goals in safety, quality, and productivity. This role ensures efficient workflow, fosters continuous improvement, and maintains compliance with company policies and procedures. The supervisor will work closely with cross-functional teams including maintenance, materials planning, and engineering to support cabinet and component production.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Supervise daily production activities to meet output targets and quality standards.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols, including PPE usage and plant-specific rules.
  • Lead and coach production associates, fostering a culture of accountability and teamwork.
  • Monitor and adjust production schedules in coordination with planning and materials teams.
  • Identify and resolve process bottlenecks and quality issues.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing practices.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of production metrics and personnel performance.
  • Collaborate with maintenance and engineering to minimize downtime and optimize equipment usage.
  • Enforce company policies consistently and equitably.
  • Participate in hiring and training of new team members.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Required:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office, Microsoft Outlook)

Preferred:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field
  • Experience with lean manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies
  • Familiarity with cabinet or component production processes
