Job Description

Join a dedicated shop team as a skilled Cabinet Maker / Cabinet Builder, where you transform raw materials into custom cabinetry, built-ins, and specialty woodworking projects. This role suits someone who values precision, takes pride in fine craftsmanship, and enjoys collaborating with others who respect the woodworking trade.

Responsibilities

  • Build and assemble custom cabinets, built-ins, and millwork from detailed shop drawings and specifications.
  • Work with solid wood, plywood, veneers, and specialty materials to produce high-quality finished products.
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and shop machinery safely and accurately, including saws, bandsaws, and other woodworking equipment.
  • Measure, mark, and layout materials using tape measures, blueprints, and shop drawings to ensure accurate dimensions and fit.
  • Collaborate closely with designers, project managers, and fellow builders to bring custom designs to life.
  • Maintain high standards of craftsmanship, quality, and attention to detail throughout all stages of production.
  • Support installation or specialty woodworking projects as needed to ensure seamless completion of jobs.
  • Follow shop safety procedures and contribute to a clean, organized, and efficient work area.

Essential Skills

  • Proven experience as a cabinet maker, cabinet builder, or woodworking professional.
  • Strong understanding of woodworking techniques, joinery, and materials, including solid wood, plywood, and veneers.
  • Ability to read and interpret shop drawings, blueprints, and specifications accurately.
  • Proficiency with hand tools and power tools commonly used in cabinetry and finish carpentry.
  • Ability to measure, mark, and cut materials precisely using a tape measure and layout tools.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Pay and Benefits
