Schedule: Project-based, based on installation needs and contractor availability


Wood + Water is a kitchen and bath design studio specializing in cabinetry, countertops, fixtures, appliances, and thoughtful remodeling support. We help clients create functional, beautiful spaces through strong design, quality materials, and a detail-focused process. We are a small, fast-moving team that values accuracy, clear communication, accountability, and practical problem-solving.


We are looking for an experienced Cabinet Installer to support kitchen, bath, and cabinetry projects in the Raleigh, NC area. This role is ideal for someone with strong installation experience who works well with builders, contractors, designers, homeowners, and project teams.


Key Responsibilities

  • Install kitchen, bath, built-in, and other cabinetry according to project plans, layouts, and specifications
  • Review drawings, measurements, site conditions, and installation details before and during each project
  • Work professionally with builders, contractors, designers, homeowners, and Wood + Water team members
  • Communicate clearly regarding scheduling, site readiness, missing materials, field issues, punch list items, and next steps
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized jobsite during installation
  • Identify and troubleshoot installation challenges in a practical and professional manner
  • Complete adjustments, punch list items, and minor field modifications as needed
  • Protect finished surfaces, cabinetry, flooring, countertops, walls, and client property during work
  • Represent Wood + Water professionally while on site


Qualifications

  • Experience installing cabinetry in residential kitchens, bathrooms, built-ins, or remodeling projects
  • Ability to read cabinet layouts, elevations, floor plans, and installation notes
  • Strong finish carpentry, leveling, scribing, trimming, and adjustment skills
  • Professional communication skills and ability to work well with builders and other trades
  • Reliable, detail-oriented, and quality-focused
  • Able to work independently and solve problems without constant supervision
  • Comfortable working in active residential construction and remodeling environments
  • Must provide your own tools, equipment, and transportation
  • Must carry any required business licensing and insurance
  • Experience with high-end cabinetry, custom cabinetry, remodeling, or builder projects is a plus
