Job description

Join Our Team! FS Builder Resources- Leedo Cabinets Division is seeking an experienced Finishing Manager to lead finishing operations within our cabinet manufacturing facility. This position is ideal for a hands-on leader with extensive expertise in paints, stains, and clear-coat applications for cabinet components, along with a passion for quality, process improvement, and team development. Only apply if you have 5 plus years of experience within a finishing leadership role. Preferably in the cabinet or wood working industry.
What You Will Be Responsible For
  • Lead all finishing department operations, including paint, stain, and clear-coat processes.
  • Develop, implement, and sustain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) that promote consistency, efficiency, and quality.
  • Manage hang-line and flat-line finishing systems and optimize throughput and performance.
  • Drive continuous improvement in safety, quality, productivity, cost control, and delivery performance.
  • Lead, coach, and develop production teams while fostering accountability and engagement.
  • Ensure product quality standards are consistently achieved and maintained.
  • Coordinate production schedules, changeovers, staffing, training, and workflow priorities.
  • Maintain strong partnerships with Plant Leadership, Maintenance, Quality, and Production teams.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and environmental requirements.

Qualifications
  • 5+ years of cabinet, woodworking, paint, or wood finishing experience.
  • Strong knowledge of paints, stains, clear coats, application methods, and finishing systems.
  • Hands-on experience with hang-line and flat-line finishing operations.
  • Demonstrated success developing and implementing SOPs and standardized processes.
  • 5+ years of manufacturing leadership experience.
  • Experience leading teams of 20-50 employees.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles preferred.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus but not required
