Palm Health Resources is actively recruiting Certified Anesthesiologist Assistants (CAAs) for a high-volume regional medical center in the Springfield, Missouri area. This is a long-term weekday locum opportunity offering broad clinical exposure, medically directed practice, and consistent ongoing need in a large hospital environment.

This assignment is ideal for CAAs seeking strong earning potential, complex surgical exposure, and a stable long-term rotation without weekend or call obligations.

  • EMR: Epic
  • Coverage Model: Medical direction (4:1 anesthesia care team model)
  • Credentialing: Approximately 90 days

Clinical Scope & Expectations

This is not a bread-and-butter-only facility. CAAs will see a broad and higher-acuity case mix including:

Complex neuro and spine

ENT

EP

General surgery

Orthopedics

GI / Endoscopy

OB support

MRI / CT anesthesia

Pediatric exposure expected


Clinical Expectations:

Intubations required

Arterial lines required

Vent management required

Comfortable working in high-volume OR environment


Additional Facility Details:

Main OR average daily census ~135

17 ORs running daily

No supervision responsibilities required

No DEA required
