POSITION: CP (Chemical Processing) Production Operator

Hourly Pay: $26.60

REPORTS TO: Polymer Area Supervisor

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Monitor, control, and troubleshoot additive make up operations & equipment. Monitor additive batches and feed tank levels to maintain a consistent supply of additives to Continuous Polymerization (CP) operations accordingly.
  • Monitor, control, and troubleshoot raw material unloading/loading operations & equipment. Monitor raw material silo levels per procedure to maintain a consistent supply of raw materials to CP operations accordingly. Monitor silo levels to ensure proper level limits.
  • Unloads Raw Material trailers at receiving dock. Unloads raw material railcars.
  • Unloads additive tanker trucks. Performs Flagman duties when moving rail cars.
  • Know and understand all Track Mobile and Flagman training documents.
  • Performs Flagman duties when moving railcars.
  • Operates Track Mobile during rail movements.
  • Learn and understand the CP chip systems.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or GED from a school accredited by the U.S. Department of Education or state/county of residence
  • Ability to work as a team member and in a safe manner.
  • Ability to operate or willing to learn to operate heavy equipment.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude. Can work with hands using hand tools and equipment.
  • Willing to learn to complete chemical mixing while wearing a respirator.
  • Ability to track and maintain multiple processes at the same time using computer controls and manual systems.
  • Willing to operate processes that may require showering.
  • Highly motivated, self-driven, and engaged in learning.
  • Good written and oral communication skills.
  • Willing to work in outside environments year-round.
  • Willing to work rotating 12-hour shifts- 4 days on, 4 days off
