What Youโ€™ll Do:

This is an On-Site Full-Time Hourly Employment in the Mold and Core making area. The Molder/Core maker is responsible for creating molds and cores used in metal casting processes. This role involves preparing mold materials, assembling molds, producing cores, and ensuring all components meet quality and safety standards. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a foundry environment and demonstrate strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and adherence to safety protocols.

  • What Youโ€™ll Do
  • Fill/Pack molds and cores manually using materials like sand, resin, and binders
  • Read and follow work instructions, blueprints, and specifications
  • Set up, operate, and maintain molding/coremaking equipment
  • Assemble molds and insert cores to create complete assemblies
  • Inspect molds/cores for defects and dimensional accuracy
  • Apply parting agents and ensure proper venting
  • Collaborate with team to meet production goals
  • Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow safety protocols
  • Perform routine tool and equipment maintenance
  • Help troubleshoot mold/core issues
  • May assist with melting and melt pouring tasks
  • Perform other duties as assigned
