New York City, NY (Need Onsite day 1, hybrid 3 days from office).
Duration: 12 months

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Core Java Developer with extensive experience in RestAPI development, Microservices architecture, and Azure Cloud. The ideal candidate will possess strong SQL database expertise and have hands-on experience with Firco (Sanction Tool).

Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable and robust core Java applications.
  • Build and optimize RestAPI services for seamless integration and communication across microservices.
  • Architect and implement microservices using industry best practices.
  • Deploy and manage applications in Azure cloud environment, ensuring high availability and performance.
  • Develop and optimize complex SQL queries and design database schemas.
  • Integrate and work with Firco (Sanction Tool) for compliance screening and sanctions validation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Conduct code reviews, provide technical guidance, and ensure adherence to standards.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues efficiently.
Requirements:
  • Overall 10+ years of IT experience is required
  • Strong proficiency in Core Java (Java 8+).
  • Hands-on experience developing and consuming RestAPIs.
  • Extensive knowledge of Microservices architecture and design patterns.
  • Experience deploying, managing, and scaling applications on Azure Cloud Services.
  • Strong SQL database skills (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL) including writing complex queries, stored procedures.
  • Proven experience working with Firco (Sanction Tool) or similar sanctions screening tools.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes is a plus).
  • Good understanding of version control systems like Git.
 
Preferred, but not required:
  • Experience with other cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of frontend technologies such as Angular or React (optional).
  • Certification in Java, Azure, or Microservices is advantageous.
