Job Description

Sunbridge Energy Services is looking for a highly motivated, safety-conscious Field Technician to support our Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) field operations. The Field Technician supports Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) operations across various sites in the West Texas region. This role involves operating, maintaining, and monitoring Pressure Reduction Systems (PRS) and CNG delivery equipment while ensuring full compliance with strict adherence to safety, operational, and environmental standards. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, process-driven environment and demonstrates effective communication, troubleshooting, and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate, maintain, and monitor PRS and CNG equipment in the field.
  • Conduct daily vehicle and equipment inspections, including pre- and post-trip DVIRs.
  • Perform Job Hazard Analysis and take part in safety meetings to maintain compliance.
  • Monitor trailer pressures and manage trailer swaps using digital tools.
  • Communicate with field leadership, dispatch, and on-site personnel.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical equipment issues.
  • Maintain accurate shift reports and equipment logs via Microsoft Teams and ADP
  • Follow all safety protocols, attend daily safety meetings, and ensure clean, organized work areas.
  • Support yard operations with equipment preparation and cleaning when needed.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications 

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
  • Proven CNG operations or PRS experience preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
  • Mechanically inclined with strong attention to detail.

Environmental

  • Willingness to work on a 14-day rotational schedule in remote field environments.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds.
