Job description

CNC Turret Operator
Location: Hamilton, NC
Schedule: M-F 5AM-3:30PM
We are seeking a detail-oriented CNC Turret Operator to set up and operate CNC turret machines in a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for producing precision metal components, ensuring quality standards are met, and keeping machines running efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC turret machines based on job specifications
- Install and align cutting tools within the turret
- Monitor machine operation to ensure parts meet specifications
- Make minor machine adjustments (offsets, tool wear compensation)
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Report equipment issues or quality concerns to supervisors
Requirements:
- Basic understanding of CNC machining and tooling
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Ability to stand for extended periods
Preferences:
- Experience operating CNC turret machines
- Experience in a metal fabrication or manufacturing environment
