Description

Equipto Manufacturing is seeking a Vipros Operator for our 2nd shift production team. You'll operate Vipros CNC turret punch press equipment to fabricate precision sheet metal components for industrial storage and material handling products. This is a great opportunity for candidates looking to build or grow their CNC fabrication skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Set up and operate Vipros CNC turret punch press to produce sheet metal parts

Load programs, select tooling, and set up jobs from work orders and drawings

Perform first-piece and in-process inspections to ensure dimensional accuracy

Monitor machine performance and make adjustments to maintain quality

Change and maintain turret tooling, dies, and punches as needed

Identify and communicate material defects, tooling wear, or program issues

Maintain accurate production counts and complete job documentation

Keep work area clean, organized, and in compliance with safety standards

Requirements


REQUIRED

No prior   Vipros experience required - we will train the right candidate

Mechanical   aptitude and comfort operating CNC equipment

Ability to   read blueprints, part drawings, and work orders

Strong   attention to detail and commitment to part quality

Ability to   stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs


PREFERRED

1-3 years   of experience on a Vipros, Amada, or similar CNC turret punch press

Experience   with tooling setup, die changes, and program loading

Background   in sheet metal or light gauge fabrication

Familiarity   with high-mix, production-driven manufacturing environments
