⚙️ What you'll be doing

As Machine Shop Supervisor, you'll:

• Lead daily operations within the CNC machining department
• Supervise machinists, operators, finishers, assemblers, and Team Leads
• Coordinate production schedules to meet quality and delivery goals
• Coach, mentor, and develop employees through ongoing training and performance management
• Monitor production KPIs and implement corrective actions
• Drive Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Manage work orders, inventory, calibration programs, and manufacturing resources
• Partner with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Maintenance, and Operations to resolve production challenges
• Support hiring, onboarding, scheduling, workforce planning, and employee relations
• Ensure compliance with FDA Quality System Regulations, ISO 13485, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and company safety standards

✅ What we're looking forRequired

• 3–5+ years of supervisory experience in a machining or manufacturing environment
• Strong knowledge of CNC machining operations
• Experience with CNC setups, offsets, troubleshooting, and program editing
• Proven leadership and employee development experience
• Strong planning, scheduling, and organizational skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Comfortable working on the manufacturing floor

Preferred

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related technical field
• CNC screw machine experience
• Medical device manufacturing experience
• Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Kanban experience
• Experience working within ISO-certified manufacturing environments
