You will be the SCE AIE Software Engineer for the Software Cybersecurity Engineering (SCE) AI Enablement team. Our team drives the strategic adoption of AI across LockheedMartin Missiles & Fire Control Engineering & Technology, accelerating the software development lifecycle.


What You Will Be Doing


As the SCE AIE Software Engineer you will be responsible for designing and implementing AIenabled development workflows that increase developer velocity while maintaining strict security standards.


Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:



  • Assist in designing AIaugmented IDEs and LLMbased tools to reduce manual effort in coding, testing, and documentation.

  • Evaluate, deploy, and optimize AI tools within secure, airgapped or classified environments.

  • Translate highlevel AI enablement strategy into concrete technical implementations that improve developer productivity.

  • Establish bestpractice guidelines for safe AIgenerated code, ensuring alignment with MFC cybersecurity and quality standards.

  • Mentor peers and share knowledge so other engineers can automate routine tasks and focus on highvalue architectural challenges.
