This full-time position is conducted onsite at our modern rehabilitation center in Jacksonville, Florida, where you will engage with a diverse patient population in a supportive and collaborative environment. As a Physical Therapist at Sunrise Orthopedics, P.C., you will be responsible for:

• Developing, implementing, and adjusting individualized physical therapy treatment plans aimed at preventing disability, relieving pain, and restoring optimal muscle function.
• Supervising physical therapy assistants to ensure the effective implementation of care plans while maintaining compliance with state regulations.
• Conducting comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical abilities, utilizing diagnostic tests to assess muscle, nerve, and joint functionalities.
• Assessing the home environment to recommend modifications that enhance independent living and safety for patients.
• Delivering direct physical therapy services as prescribed by a physician, including administering therapeutic exercises and physical modalities.
• Participating in interdisciplinary team meetings to evaluate and adjust treatment plans, leveraging feedback from other healthcare professionals.
• Maintaining clinical documentation, including initial evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries, in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Providing education to patients and families regarding post-treatment care and the proper use of therapeutic devices.
• Challenging complex cases and seeking interdisciplinary collaboration when necessary to promote optimal patient outcomes.

Your work will primarily support diverse patients recovering from musculoskeletal injuries, surgeries, and chronic conditions within our rehabilitation center. You will focus on empowering patients to achieve their rehabilitative goals, enhancing their independence through specialized therapy techniques tailored to individual needs.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• An active Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida.
• A clean professional record free from sanctions or board proceedings and a commitment to ethical practice.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative attitude, ensuring effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare teams.

While all qualified applicants are encouraged to apply, preference will be given to candidates with:

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) with advanced clinical training.
• Experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting or rehabilitation clinic.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) software, particularly WebPT, for efficient documentation.

This role offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience. Additionally, our full-time team members benefit from:
