About the Role:
Rancho Sestero Meat Cutting LLC is looking for a skilled Butcher to join our team in Nipomo, CA! This is a hands-on role for a passionate meat cutting professional who takes pride in quality craftsmanship and delivering exceptional products to customers.

Responsibilities:
  • Break down and fabricate primal, sub-primal, and retail cuts of meat with precision
  • Operate and maintain meat cutting equipment including band saws, grinders, and slicers
  • Trim, debone, and portion meat products to specification and customer requests
  • Ensure proper meat handling, storage, and rotation to maintain freshness and food safety
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment in compliance with health regulations
  • Assist customers with product selection, special cuts, and custom orders as needed
  • Monitor inventory and communicate stock needs to management
Requirements:
  • Previous experience as a butcher, meat cutter, or in a meat processing environment preferred
  • Proficiency with meat cutting tools including knives, band saws, and grinders
  • Knowledge of meat cuts, grades, and proper handling/storage procedures
  • Understanding of food safety standards and sanitation practices
