Responsibilities
  • Manage multiple business valuation engagements simultaneously from planning through final report delivery.
  • Coordinate engagement timelines, staffing, and deliverables to ensure projects are completed efficiently and accurately.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for clients throughout valuation engagements.
  • Lead and review business valuation engagements for purposes including transaction advisory, succession planning, shareholder matters, litigation support, and tax planning.
  • Develop and review financial models using accepted valuation methodologies and analyze financial, operational, and market data.
  • Evaluate company performance, industry trends, risk factors, and key value drivers to support valuation conclusions.
  • Prepare and review valuation reports and supporting documentation.  
  • Present valuation findings and explain complex financial concepts in a clear and practical manner.
  • Collaborate with attorneys, financial advisors, and internal professionals to support client objectives.
  • Supervise, mentor, and develop junior valuation team members.
  • Review staff work for accuracy, quality, and adherence to professional standards.
  • Assist with training, process improvements, and the continued growth of the valuation practice.
  • Support business development initiatives through networking, proposal participation, and relationship building.
  • Identify opportunities to expand advisory services and strengthen client relationships.
     
What we’re looking for
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in business valuation, transaction advisory, corporate finance, public accounting, or a related field.
  • Strong financial analysis, valuation modeling, research, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple engagements and deadlines effectively.
  • Professional valuation credential (ASA, ABV, CVA, CFA) or progress toward certification preferred.
  • Experience leading engagements and supervising staff preferred.
  • A client-focused professional with strong business acumen and sound judgment.
  • A collaborative leader who enjoys mentoring and developing others.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills combined with intellectual curiosity.
  • Confidence working directly with business owners, attorneys, financial advisors, and other professional service providers.
