As a systems and infrastructure development, operations and maintenance programmer analyst you participate in IT efficiency and quality by analyzing, designing, configuring, developing, maintaining and upgrading software products in accordance with the organization's requirements. Your skills in technology and your ability to anticipate innovation actively help develop, standardize and roll out large-scale IT systems, programs and applications with a major impact on the organization. You analyze client and partner requirements and you recommend team-specific technological or software solutions. You plan, prioritize and coordinate work to stay on schedule and meet objectives. Your initiatives require innovation and in-depth, extensive knowledge of your line of work. You resolve issues that have a very high degree of operational and conceptual complexity requiring analysis and a comprehensive, in-depth understanding of the business and the organization. Coordination is critical, so you frequently interact with different stakeholders working in other fields. Interpersonal savvy is therefore essential. You serve as an expert advisor and subject matter expert, as well as a go to person and coach for senior management or other decision-making bodies. More specifically, you will be required to :

  • Advise teams on using technology to develop business solutions and help them make changes in order to improve delivery velocity.
  • Develop highly complex execution strategies, analyze, design and document business products and solutions.
  • Analyze and develop software products (design, code, automate and run tests), while applying development, data and security best practices.
  • Establish and draft development methods and design patterns, procedures and IT choices. Lead documentation writing teams that will prepare and deliver training to peers and users.
  • Cocreate with business partners and architects to get a complete understanding of business intentions and objectives to standardize solutions accordingly.
  • Actively look for system optimization opportunities while taking into consideration possible impacts. Analyze, diagnose, follow up on and resolve highly complex operational and conceptual problems during major incidents.
  • Represent teams in dealings with executive management, partners and outside organizations.
