The KLA Services team headquartered in Milpitas, CA is our service organization that consists of Service Sales and Marketing, Spares Supply Chain management, Field Operations, Engineering, Product Training, and Technical Support. The KLA Services organization partners with our field teams and customers in all business sectors to maintain the high performance and productivity of our products through a flexible portfolio of services. Our comprehensive services include: proactive management of tools to identify and improve performance; expertise in optics, image processing and motion control with worldwide service engineers, 24/7 technical support teams and knowledge management systems; and an extensive parts network to ensure worldwide availability of parts.

Job Description/Preferred Qualifications

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Project/Program Manager to lead and support a portfolio of mature wafer inspection products. This role will focus on extending product life and ensuring parts supportability to meet KLA's business objectives while providing customers with expected tool availability and cost-of-ownership targets.

  • Lead cross-functional teams, including product marketing, supply chain, product support, engineering, and finance, to develop and drive projects that ensure continuity of spare parts supply and support informed business decisions on product prioritization and investment.

  • Develop a strong understanding of supported products to make sound technical and business decisions, including support prioritization, project scoping, and funding requirements. Decisions should be supported by ROI analysis and consider both business and customer impact.

  • Assess, mitigate, and retire risks effectively.

  • Present program updates and checkpoint presentations to senior and executive management.

  • Adapt to both agile and traditional waterfall project management models, demonstrating flexibility and the ability to adjust working methods as needed.

  • Leverage new and emerging technologies, including AI tools, to increase efficiency and productivity in planning, executing, and closing projects and programs, as well as managing portfolios more effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum of a BS in engineering from an accredited school, 7+ years of technology industry experience, and 2-3 years of team management experience.

  • Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and successfully driving projects to completion.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.

  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

  • Experience in capital equipment engineering and support is highly desirable.

  • Experience in project and/or program management.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Doctorate (Academic) Degree and 0 years related work experience; Master's Level Degree and related work experience of 3 years; Bachelor's Level Degree and related work experience of 5 years
