Job Summary

Informative Research, part of Stewart's family of companies, is seeking a Senior Director, Business Process Automation and is responsible for leading enterprise-wide initiatives to simplify, automate, and optimize business processes across the organization. This role partners closely with Technology, Product, Operations, Customer Experience, and Executive Leadership to identify opportunities for workflow automation, AI-enabled solutions, and process improvements that enhance efficiency, reduce operating costs, and improve customer outcomes. The Senior Director serves as a strategic advisor and change leader, driving the adoption of intelligent automation while ensuring alignment with business objectives, operational excellence, security, and governance standards.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead the execution of enterprise business process automation strategies that improve operational efficiency and scalability.
  • Identify, evaluate, and prioritize opportunities to automate manual workflows across customer-facing and internal business operations.
  • Partner with Technology, Product, and business leaders to design and implement automation initiatives that deliver measurable business value.
  • Drive continuous process improvement efforts by analyzing workflows, identifying inefficiencies, and recommending innovative solutions.
  • Develop and implement workflow automation, intelligent routing, process orchestration, and AI-assisted operational capabilities.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and artificial intelligence solutions to improve customer service, decision support, operational efficiency, and business processes.
  • Ensure all automation initiatives comply with organizational security, risk management, compliance, and governance requirements.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to business and operational leaders, providing strategic guidance on process improvement and operational excellence.
  • Collaborate with customer support and service organizations to identify opportunities to improve workflows, productivity, and customer experience.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure automation effectiveness, process efficiency, cost savings, customer satisfaction, and productivity improvements.
  • Present business cases, automation roadmaps, and return-on-investment (ROI) outcomes to executive leadership.
  • Champion organizational adoption of automation technologies and foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Lead cross-functional change management efforts related to process redesign and technology implementation.


Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field required.
  • Master's degree (MBA or related discipline) preferred.

Experience

  • 8+ years of experience in business process improvement, automation, operational excellence, digital transformation, or related fields, including leadership experience.
  • Proven success leading enterprise-wide process optimization and automation initiatives.
  • Experience partnering with technology and business teams to implement workflow automation and AI-enabled solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of process improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or Business Process Management (BPM).
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives, influence stakeholders, and drive organizational change.
  • Experience with workflow automation platforms, process orchestration tools, and digital transformation technologies.
  • Financial services, mortgage, title, or other regulated industry experience preferred.
