Job description


The Sr. RPA Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, testing, implementing, and supporting robotic process automation solutions that improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability across business operations. This role partners with cross-functional teams to evaluate business processes, identify automation opportunities, and deliver reliable solutions aligned with business needs.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Analyze business processes to identify automation opportunities and recommend scalable RPA and intelligent automation solutions
  • Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain RPA bots and supporting workflows
  • Gather and document requirements, including current-state and future-state process models
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues affecting bot performance and reliability
  • Monitor production automations and implement enhancements and optimizations
  • Ensure automation solutions comply with security, governance, and compliance standards
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, process flows, and support materials
  • Support system integrations, API interactions, exception handling, and bot scheduling/orchestration
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, CI/CD deployments, and release activities
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and automation best practices

The anticipated salary range for this position is $95,500 - $147,800 depending on location, knowledge, skills, education and experience. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. In addition, we offer comprehensive and competitive benefits to Associates (and their families) such as medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability. Eligible Associates are able to enroll in our company's 401k plan. Associates will accrue paid time off up to 236 hours per year (inclusive of PTO, floating holidays, and paid holidays). Paid sick time up to 80 hours per year unless otherwise required by law.
Requirements
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related Field preferred
  • RPA Certifications from major platforms preferred
  • Experience in process analysis, workflow design, testing, and production support, Experience working in enterprise environments; retail industry experience preferred
Skills
  • Hands-on experience with RPA platforms such as UiPath (preferred), Automation Anywhere, or Blue Prism
  • Experience implementing intelligent automation using OCR, AI/ML, LLMs, or document understanding
  • Strong experience in process analysis, workflow design, testing, and production support
  • Exposure to AI-assisted decision-making, including generative, predictive, and agentic AI
  • Basic application development experience with React, Spring Boot, and Maven
  • Experience working in enterprise environments; retail industry experience preferred
  • RPA development and orchestration
  • Programming/scripting: Python, C#, Java, or VB.NET
  • API integrations and system interactions
  • SQL querying and database fundamentals
  • CI/CD pipelines and release management
