Job description

KORE1, a nationwide provider of staffing and recruiting solutions, has an immediate opening for a Business Systems Analyst - AI Solutions & Automation in Brea, Ca. (Hybrid)

Position Overview
We are looking for a business-minded problem solver who understands how work gets done and enjoys using modern AI tools to improve it. This is not a traditional software engineering role. We're looking for someone who naturally starts with the business problem-not the technology. Someone who can sit with stakeholders, understand inefficient processes, identify opportunities for automation, and rapidly build practical AI-enabled solutions that employees actually use.
The ideal candidate has a background as a Business Systems Analyst, Business Analyst, Solutions Analyst, Technical Program Manager, or similar business-facing role and has independently built AI-powered automations or internal productivity solutions using tools like Claude, ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Power Automate, Python, SQL, APIs, or other modern AI platforms. We're intentionally seeking candidates who have embraced today's AI-assisted development ("vibe coding") rather than traditional enterprise software engineering approaches.
What Success Looks Like
Business users come to you with problems-not technical requirements. You ask questions, understand the workflow, identify inefficiencies, determine where AI or automation can help, then quickly prototype and deploy solutions that save time and improve productivity. Sometimes the answer is Power Automate. Sometimes it's Python. Sometimes it's Claude, Copilot, or ChatGPT. Sometimes it's connecting multiple tools together. The technology matters less than your ability to solve real business problems with practical AI-enabled solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Business Process Discovery
*    Meet with business stakeholders to understand workflows, pain points, manual processes, and operational challenges.
*    Analyze current business processes and identify opportunities for AI and automation.
*    Translate business needs into practical, scalable solutions.
*    Recommend the simplest solution that delivers measurable business value.
AI-Powered Solution Development
*    Design and build lightweight automation solutions using AI tools and low-code/no-code platforms.
*    Develop workflow automations using Microsoft Power Platform and Microsoft 365.
*    Build integrations between business systems, APIs, and AI platforms.
*    Use Python, SQL, or scripting where appropriate to extend automation capabilities.
*    Rapidly prototype new ideas using modern AI-assisted development tools.
AI Enablement
*    Help business users understand how AI can improve their daily work.
*    Train employees on AI-enabled workflows and productivity tools.
*    Promote AI adoption across departments.
*    Create documentation and reusable templates that enable long-term success.
Continuous Improvement
*    Maintain a backlog of automation opportunities.
*    Evaluate new AI technologies and determine practical business use cases.
*    Continuously improve existing automations based on user feedback.
*    Measure adoption and business impact of delivered solutions.
Required Qualifications
*    Experience as a Business Systems Analyst, Business Analyst, Solutions Analyst, Technical Program Manager, Process Improvement Analyst, or similar business-facing role.
*    Demonstrated ability to identify business process problems and implement practical technology solutions.
*    Strong business analysis, process mapping, and stakeholder communication skills.
*    Hands-on experience using modern AI tools to solve real business problems.
*    Working knowledge of SQL for querying and analyzing data.
*    Working knowledge of Python or similar scripting language used to automate business processes.
*    Experience integrating multiple business systems through APIs or automation platforms.
*    Comfortable working independently while managing multiple initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications
*    Experience with Microsoft 365 technologies including Power Automate, SharePoint, Teams, Outlook, and Copilot.
Required AI Experience
Candidates must demonstrate recent hands-on experience (2025 to present) building AI-enabled solutions. Examples include:
*    Internal AI assistants
*    Workflow automations
*    Business productivity tools
*    AI-powered reporting solutions
*    Process automation
*    AI-enabled document workflows
*    Custom GPTs
*    Claude Projects
*    Copilot agents
*    AI workflows connected to enterprise data

Compensation depends on experience but is typically $120-140k/year.
