Payworks develops proprietary, integrated SaaS-based products in the payroll, human resources and time and attendance space. We create, deploy and maintain our own solutions; this requires the support of a talented but growing and increasingly more complex team. Reporting to the Team Lead, Business Operations, the Business Operations Analyst will be responsible to work with internal stakeholders to understand and document business problems. COLLABORATE & SOLVE PROBLEMS - IT'S WHAT YOU'LL DO
+Analyze and plan - Work with internal stakeholders to capture interesting and complex challenges presented by the business and engage with team members to deliver creative solutions. You will evaluate current tool sets and technology in use by internal stakeholders (and how they align with current or future processes) to identify challenges/gaps, and recommend actions (to enhance or even retire/replace). You will document and evaluate current business processes and requirements to identify opportunities for improvement, and plan and support application releases and UAT processes to ensure successful delivery of changes to internal stakeholders.
+Work with a team - Support, collaborate and create with cross-functional teams and external partners to ensure solutions are viable and consistent. This often entails facilitating requirement meetings, sprint reviews, sprint planning and other Agile ceremonies as well as planning and supporting releases and the delivery of organizational readiness sessions. You will directly support the success of projects by contributing to the removal of roadblocks, closing of gaps, identification of key dependencies and response to urgent inquiries. You will facilitate requirement meetings, sprint reviews, sprint planning, backlog meetings etc.
+Share your insights - You will interact with the internal stakeholders, subject matter experts, delivery teams, and external parties often. A variety of audiences, including business, technical and leadership, will rely on you to effectively articulate business problems and solutions. You will provide regular status updates to project and program leaders, and support - and on occasion deliver - workshops designed to facilitate requirements, develop conceptual solutions, and solve business problems.ย 

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED
+Post-Secondary diploma / degree in relevant discipline (Business, Development, Quality Assurance, Project Management) or combination of education and business-relevant experience.
+3+ years of Business, Product or Systems Analyst role or similar position.
+Experience with the Payworks suite of tools, including the Payworks application, Salesforce, Finance, TheHUB, MyWorks, etc.
+Experience with requirements gathering, process mapping and/or process re-engineering.
+Experience planning and executing projects of small to medium sizes.
+Experience working with both business and technical resources.
+Knowledge of the human capital management space.
+Experience with Agile development methodologies.
+Creative problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze data, identify trends and drive innovative solutions.
+Proficiency with various development technologies and frameworks, including JavaScript, ASP (VB Script), HTML, CSS/SCSS, XML/JSON, Bootstrap, Foundation, Adobe Creative Cloud suite (XD, PSD, AI), C#, and SQL, is considered an asset.
+Strong communication, analytical and problem solving skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels and manage multiple priorities effectively.
+Ability to work independently, adapt to changing priorities and excel in a fast-paced environment.
